![]() ![]() This is what I could find for what's new in the update +This Logic Pro 8.0.2 update addresses specific customer and compatibility issues of Logic Pro 8.0. ![]() I've just downloaded the new update without checking here first. It includes Waveburner 1.5.2 and Impulse Response Utility 1.0.2, which address issues for Waveburner 1.5.2 and Impulse Response Utility 1.0 respectively.+ +If you are using Logic Node you will need to update your Logic Node application on connected computers as well. When I do a spotlight search there's loads of content files everywhere, I assume in the right places.Anyway, when I click the Logic app icon it starts to launch, but I almost immediately get a 'Logic Pro quit unexpectedly' message. There's a folder at Library/Application Support/Logic but it's empty. Logic, Mainstage, Node, and Waveburner are in the applications folder. Slightly surprising.Have had a quick look for files and many seem to be there. Installed my already-owned version of Logic Studio (w Logic Pro 8) using Pacifist, by:- creating Disk Images of installer DVD and 3 Audio Content DVDs (Disk Utility failed to create DMGs of Jam Pack DVDs)- opening Pacifist, selecting main.mpkg and clicking the install button- watching while Pacifist extracted files, inserting Jam Pack DVDs when askedAt no point was I asked where I wanted to save any content, nor was I asked for serial no. ![]() I've just acquired a new Mac Book Pro (Retina Quad 2.6 i7 w 8GB of RAM). I've finished installing Logic Studio on my new Mac Book Pro, Logic is behaving properly, but waveburner's authorisation refuses to 'take' every time i start waveburner it seams it wants my serial number and (because i've upgraded through the versions of logic) my xskey (if any of you guys remember that thing.) I put in the serial number, then insert my xskey and waveburner starts and works properly, if i quit and restart the app it works, but as soon as i restart the machine, it asks for the serial again serial number. The feature allows audio to be written to your hard drive before being burned to disc. To combat burning interruption, Emagic has wisely added a Save as Disc Image feature. Keep in mind that processing audio with a plug-in burdens your CPU, and overloading the CPU can cause interruptions in the burning process, resulting in the creation of beverage coasters instead of audio CDs. But Emagic's Denoiser plug-in is as transparent a denoiser as I have heard and includes frequency, time, and level/transition parameters to smooth and ease the muffling and splat invariably caused by a denoiser. Hopefully, your recording technique is such that you will never need a denoiser those processors will alter your audio in more ways than simply subtracting noise, so it's really best to avoid them if possible. You get separate intensity controls for the upper- and lower-frequency bands, and you can set the highest and lowest frequencies affected. Stereo Base Expander (also called StereoSpread) makes mono tracks seem to be stereo by sending a selectable number of midrange frequency bands to the left and right channels. ![]()
